Star Wars Themed Wedding

Sometimes people just do it right. And in the case of Jennifer and Joshua – they literally take the (wedding) cake! These two love birds love nothing more than Star Wars, and as you can see from the photo above – they incorporated the iconic movie into their special day. And what’s even more awesome is that THIS WAS JENNIFER’S CHOICE, not Joshua’s. DOH!!! Why didn’t I think of that!? Their wedding photos are something from a galaxy far-far-away.

In a recent interview for blog Green Wedding Shoes, Jennifer had this to say:

“From the moment we started planning, my now-husband and I decided that we wanted our wedding to be intimate, fun, and a reflection of who we are as a couple. In terms of the details and decor, we tried to create an atmosphere that was whimsical, romantic, and modern. Since I’m a lifelong Star Wars fan, I knew I had to incorporate my fandom into some of the wedding details. The cherry on top for both of us was getting Stormtroopers from the 501st Legion to be a part of the wedding. It was an absolute dream come true!”

Addressing the bride and groom: Jen & Josh (can I call you Jen & Josh, or how about J&J?) you guys are precious. My husband and I are both huge Star Wars fans, and his groom’s cake was an R2D2, but I have to admit when we’re outdone. And you two love birds really did it right. Check it out:
