While I agree that pretty much everything can be replaced with something else in Ready Player One, I _REALLY_ hope they get the mechs & Ultraman for the final fight.
Ultraman vs. Mechagodzilla with todays FX could be epic.

Agreed. And I wonder if they save on licensing if they keep Voltron as written. “No, we don’t need Voltron, just the lions. $50? Yeah we’ll pay in cash.”
