For those like me who loved the action and mythology teased in John Wick (what ARE those coins), you might be excited to here some news from the directors!
The directors are hard at work on a sequel set in the Wickiverse!
Per Movie.com:
They didn’t go into any specifics on story or if Reeves would return, though Stahelski did hint, “If we could work with Keanu Reeves for 10 movies you’d have a really cool career.” The two admitted that pressure of a sequel isn’t coming up with more action, but keeping the character relatable.
I thought this should have been more successful, so I am surprised it is getting sequel love. Maybe this is one of those films that caught on in the home market. Either way, more Wick!
