Episode 38, Maxi-Mom Endings, starts off with a bang in our Geekiest News of the Week (GNOW). We cover what has become known as the Holmes Incident from last week and talk about spoilers in general, than move on to a completely (we promise!) spoiler-free review of Mad Max: Fury Road, before ending on the announcement of the New Mutants movie.
After covering the Max part, we move on to the Mom part with a fun game. Ryan quizzes Jenny and Watson on Moms from fantasy, science fiction, and comics to see who knows Moms better.
After three Geek Mails we turn to our last segment where we each take turns rewriting endings to favorite geek media. Jenny rewrites the ending of Pretty In Pink, Watson takes on the Peanuts cartoon strip, while Ryan tosses Matrix Revolutions out the window and develops a completely different third movie in the Matrix trilogy.
