Did you grow up with Goosebumps, either on the page or the TV? I didn’t. I was a bit too old when they came out. Yeah, yeah, poor me.
Well, the never-ending fountain of hopeful nostalgia profit that is Hollywood has a Goosebumps movie coming out around Halloween with Jack Black playing R.L. Stine. Interested at all? See the trailer after the cut.

I’ve never seen or read any Goosebumps and based on that trailer…probably going to stay that way.

I have a 16 year old daughter who as a youngster 8-11 read a lot of scary stuff and did go a lot of Goosebumps. She mentioned that they were making a movie and is excited about it…….. So maybe the beauty is in the eye of beholder….we’ll see how many of those kids are out there to float the movie.
