But which one?
OK, assuming the rumor is true, Dr. Strange doesn’t have a lot of well-known adversaries. We already know Chiwetel Ejiofor is up for Baron Mordo. That really only leaves one possibility as near as I can make out: dread Dormammu.
That’s speculation, of course. Marvel isn’t saying who the other bad guy is, but Mikkelsen is a great pick. He was a fantastic Hannibal Lecter. He can do a bad guy, easy.
Of course, I’m the only Gabbing Geek regular who seems to know that part about Hannibal. No wonder NBC canceled the show.
You know, if this casting comes true, between Mikkelsen, Ejiofor, and Tilda Swinton as the ancient one, Benedict Cumberbatch may be the least impressive actor in the main cast, and he’s no slouch either.
