So, for some reason, there’s a Warcraft movie coming out.
As near as I can make out, I’m the only person at Gabbing Geek who ever played World of Warcraft at all, and for the life of me, I still don’t know why there’s a movie coming. I mean, yeah, a few million players worldwide, the game as a deep mythology of its own, and so forth, but has there ever been a successful movie based on a video game?
Well, there’s a teaser after the cut if anyone is interested. Don’t sneeze during play or you’ll miss the whole thing and have to play it again.

World of Warcraft is a beast. A beast to be reckoned with. For over a decade Blizzard’s top MMORPG has been dominating the gaming world. With over 12 million subscribers at its peak in a few years ago, and enough money to last a lifetime, the long-term growth of the franchise is slowly coming to a halt. So it looks like the next steps for World Of Warcraft might be moving towards the option of free-to-play.
