We here at Gabbing Geek have debated the best cartoon theme songs on our Podcast Ep. 14. What we failed to imagine is if someone took similar lovable theme songs and transformed them into super hard-core METAL versions. Feast your eyes and ears on these twisted musical mashups….I lost my mind when he started singing the Batman theme song.
Happy Monday everyone. To get this week started off right, how about some story time? Imagine you are a 9-year-old little boy, and you are a huge fan of Lord Of The Rings (I mean, who wouldn’t?). And imagine that because you love this magical franchise so much, you concoct a story where you own the ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL. Not that you actually have the ring, that would be silly…but your imagination doesn’t need to know that. And then imagine that you tried to use that imaginary ring to rule over your friends during recess. Sounds pretty harmless, right? WRONG! This can get you expelled from school in Texas.
This is probably one of my favorite videos on YouTube. Someone took tons of clips from tons of movies and TV shows and made a rather good techno-kinda tune out of it. I’ve seen lots of stuff, but even I can’t name all of them here. I tend to skip to this whenever I want a quick smile at someone else’s cleverness.
Can you believe the nerve of Yankee Candle? How could they do this to us? I mean, these demon cookies are already like crack, but let’s light a candle in our homes so that the smell of cookies is always present. I might as well screw this diet I pretend I’m on, because the smell of cookies 24/7 in my house is a diet death wish. Damn you demon cookies! Damn you! Thank you science for giving us sparkly nails. But’s let’s not get too carried away with “Freaky Like Freud” nails, shall we? That is all.
ACK! Like we needed one more reason to be scared of sharks. It’s not like anyone says, “Hey shark, how ya’ doing? Say hello to ya’ motha’ for me.” NO! No one talks to sharks. You know why? Because sharks are scary, and they have razor sharp teeth to chew through soft tiny limbs, and oh god…. just look at that photo! We’re not talking your standard shark teeth, now we’re talking millions of layered razor sharp needle teeth just waiting to rip through you. Make it stop! The horror!
Teddy Ruxbin was an 80’s staple of love, friendship, storytelling, and mechanical nightmares. Watch a video of kids today reacting to the lovable friend after the break. You won’t be disappointed.
This window is more than meets the eye! Say hello to St. Optimus of Prime. It’s made from 122-pieces of stained glass. The artist, software engineer Craig Kovatch who said this was his first stained glass project he’s ever done. FANCY! Check out more pics of this amazing piece of art after the break:
“While video chatting one night, six high school friends receive a Skype message from a classmate who killed herself exactly one year ago. A first they think it’s a prank, but when the girl starts revealing the friends’ darkest secrets, they realize they are dealing with something out of this world, something that wants them dead. Told entirely from a young girl’s computer desktop, CYBERNATURAL redefines ‘found footage’ for a new generation of teens.” – IMDB
Um. No. No. No. No. No. No.
