But they have a hell of a catchy theme song. Check it out after the break.
It’s been quite a while since I have written.. I was MIA along with Watson. I’m not the reason for no podcast though. You will have to find Watson and ask him about that.
Wow, April is going to be a great Geek month on Netflix. I KNOW you already watched all of season 2 of Daredevil! How did you like it? Did you catch the new Pee-Wee Herman movie? I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t as good as the original movie.
April bring us the Stanley Kubric classic 2001: A space Odyssey. We also get Star Trek: Insurrection and the cult hit, Starship Troopers. We also have the epic movie, The Right Stuff. April also brings a ton of non Geek hits such as Erin Brockovich, A Clockwork Orange, and the always on tv, The Shawshank Redemption as well as the all time classic, always quoted: A Princess Bride.
If your into cooking shows, Netflix has you covered with like 15 different shows covering all the big name celebrity chefs for your enjoyment.
You can see the complete list of what’s new, and their release dates here.
As soon as I catch up on my Netflix watching, I’ll try to be better about keeping you folks in the loop. Sorry!
We are loving this rendition of Mera from DC’s Aquaman series. For more cosplay goodness, check out @comicgirlcosplay & her web series “A Beginner’s Guide to Cosplay” or her Instagram.
I am loving this Rey cosplay from JusZ Cosplay. Originally from Vancouver BC (Canada) she now lives in Adelaide, Australia. JusZ has been cosplaying for over five years now, and has had a passion for costumes and theatre for most of her life. Check out more of her awesome cosplay and Photographer: Steam Kittens after the break:
New Her Universe Captain Marvel and Spider-Woman jackets are out! Other featured jackets in the collection include Black Widow, Captain America, and more! Check out the more detailed photos after the break, and where to get one of your very own.
So I figure if I continue to post these “not Jenny approved” cosplays, Jenny will eventually return to smite me down and reclaim her thrown as Queen of the Cosplays. So after the break, check out this great Lara…Croft…what, what is it?
(Editors Note: Jimmy, Jenny just posted a new cosplay like an hour ago.)
She what? Oh, for God’s sake. Sure, sure, after I finally get off my butt and post not one, but two articles today, Jenny comes riding in on her white horse all, “look at me, I’ve returned and brought excellent cosplays with me that I found in my travels!” Yeah, all hail Jenny! Queen of the…whatever. I’m going back to reading Spider-Man comics.
I mean, WELCOME BACK JENNY!
It’s been too long since we’ve had proper representation of the awesome, the wonderful, the glorious, and magical – yes that’s right people – women in cosplay!
May I present to you a Victorian Thor design that cosplayer Koneko YourAverageNerd showed off at Katsucon 2016. See more pictures after the break.
Maybe I can anger Jenny into coming back and posting our regular cosplay article with this definitely not Jenny Approved spread of our favourite Tomb Raider.
Back in December I posted an episode of Super Power Beat Down which featured everyone’s favorite Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man versus that dastardly Dark Lord of the Sith: Darth Maul. I know you all watched it.
Creators batinthesun have released an alternate ending to that battle, as they often do. You can watch it after the cut. And keep an eye out for a very cool cameo.
