Suicide Squad is not due to come out until August 5, over six months from now. WB just released the first official trailer that I’m sure we’ll see endlessly in theatres until the middle of summer. We don’t usually see TV spots until a bit closer to the release date. But after the cut, watch the first international commercial. It’s mostly a very slimmed down version of the trailer.
Can it be possible to make the various Batman V. Superman: This Time It’s Personal trailers looks even less appealing to the various members of Gabbing Geek that aren’t Canadian?
I don’t know, but the folks at the YouTube channel Weird Trailers decided the last one needed more extra characters for no reason and highly distorted faces. Plus Adam West. We can always do with more Adam West. See the resulting Weird Trailer after the cut.
While watching last nights DC Films special on the upcoming Justice League related movies, I couldn’t help but feel that I was watching a fish swimming upstream or some other analogy that points out how far behind Marvel that DC is in this cinematic universe building.
On the positive side, the show did give us the new Suicide Squad trailer and the first look at the upcoming Wonder Woman solo movie, which you can see after the cut. After 74 years, Wonder Woman will finally make her big screen debut in March’s Batman v Superman and her standalone film is due June 23, 2017.
More than likely you’ve seen the Comic Con footage that leaked and was eventually released to the public last year. Well now, after the cut, feast your eyes on the first official trailer for one of this years most anticipated movies. Let us know what you think.
Tune into The CW this evening as Kevin Smith and DC head guru Geoff Johns will introduce the new DC Cinematic Universe in the special DC Films Presents The Dawn Of The Justice League. The show will also debut the first trailer for Suicide Squad.
After the cut, check out a commercial for the special as well as more of the awesome Suicide Squad posters seen above.
There’s not much more that needs to be said. Watch the video after the break.
It may not be due to hit theaters until March, but the most…well, least…well, something…anticipated movie coming out this spring, Batman vs. Kramer: Dawn of Predators or something has some TV spots right now.
See, we here at Gabbing Geek have done a lot to mostly look askance at this particular movie. More details made many of us feel more uneasy. That’s not cool. Will the TV commercials help us? Not in a million years, but we have them behind the cut anyway.
Not even 2 minutes and 33 seconds? Because that is all you will need for this masterful super cut showcasing the trailers currently available for many of 2016’s upcoming films. Worth a watch after the cut.
Well, that March 25th Marvel/DC showdown rumor didn’t last long. Netflix has officially announced Daredevil Season Two is dropping a week earlier than Batsoup on March 18th. With Punisher and Elektra joining the fray and probably more Frank Miller influences than you can shake a baton at, this season is something to get very excited about.
Marvel at the poster above then check out the teaser trailer/date announcement after the cut.
Marvel/Disney and DC/Warner Brothers have been circling each other, looking for weaknesses, as befits a pair of business rivals looking to earn some of the mighty audience dollars, the most powerful substance in either universe.
So, how has the most recent iteration of this rivalry come up?
