New For Netflix In April

 

 

It’s been quite a while since I have written.. I was MIA along with Watson.  I’m not the reason for no podcast though.  You will have to find Watson and ask him about that.

Wow, April is going to be a great Geek month on Netflix. I KNOW  you already watched all of season 2 of Daredevil!    How did you like it?  Did you catch the new Pee-Wee Herman movie?  I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t as good as the original movie.

 

April bring us the Stanley Kubric classic 2001: A space Odyssey.  We also get Star Trek: Insurrection and the cult hit,  Starship Troopers. We also have the epic movie, The Right Stuff.   April also brings a ton of non Geek hits such as Erin Brockovich, A Clockwork Orange, and the always on tv, The Shawshank Redemption as well as the all time classic, always quoted: A Princess Bride.

 

If your into cooking shows, Netflix has you covered with like 15 different shows covering all the big name celebrity chefs for your enjoyment.

Let The Hype Train Begin For The Next Marvel Netflix Series: Luke Cage

So apparently at the end of the last episode of season two of Daredevil, there is a very short teaser for the upcoming Luke Cage series.  I’ve only watched episode one of season two so far, so I have no idea how accurate that statement is.  And yes, my geek cred should be dropped a notch.

Daredevil Season 2 Continues To Be A Tease

Daredevil season 2 is almost upon us.  After the break, Netflix and Marvel continue to tease us as DD, Punisher and Elektra suit up.

Well, Marvel and Netflix found their Iron Fist.  They just tapped some guy from Game of Thrones.

Daredevil Season Two Trailer Two Will Make You Wish It Was March 18th.

Part one of the official Daredevil Season Two trailer focused on newcomer Frank Castle, aka The Punisher.  The part two trailer focuses on another newcomer, former DD lover and season one easter egg, Elektra.

Watch it after the cut.  And watch season two of Daredevil on Netflix on March 18th, but I didn’t need to tell you that.

Tom Recommends: Young Justice (Animated Series)

Animator Greg Wiseman has had a long string of animated series that have pleased fans but have always seemed to be cut short due to other factors.  He was forced off Disney’s Gargoyles and saw his Spectacular Spider-Man cut short due to the Spider-rights going to Disney.

Then there was Young Justice, an animated series set in the DC universe about a team of superhero sidekicks going on covert missions for the Justice League.

Those pesky folks at Netflix continue their bid to take over all entertainment with the release of a full trailer for Pee-wee’s Big Holiday.  Watch it after the cut.  And watch the movie on Netflix on March 18th.  A date I’m surprised they haven’t moved from with Daredevil Season 2 also releasing that day.

Celebrate Chinese New Year With A New Daredevil Promo

I think Chinese New Year was technically yesterday, but I overdosed the site with all the geek ads from Super Bowl 50.  So let’s start the day with a very short tease for Daredevil season two.  If you like seeing super heroes stand up and vigilantes say one word off screen, then this teaser is for you!

Pee-wee’s Big Holiday Teaser Trailer

It’s 2016 and everything old is new again.  The X-Files are back.  Guns N’ Roses are back.  Watson’s frosted tips are back.  So…not everything that is being revived is a hit.
