Incredible Mondo Bizarro LP Makes Us Wish We Collected Vinyl

There are geek collectibles you can appreciate from outside that sphere of influence and then there are geek collectibles that make you think “That is so awesome maybe I should start collecting it!”  This is one of those later pieces.  We’ve already discussed the awesomeness that is Mondo and their recent convention, but jump after the break to discover why this latest Superman Bizarro LP is one of the coolest pieces of vinyl we’ve ever seen.

New Guardians Of The Galaxy Mix Tape? James Gunn Is Not A Fan

The Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon has revealed its first soundtrack compilation and the film’s director doesn’t like it.  While the first two episodes are set to premiere on September 26 on Disney X D, the soundtrack itself won’t come out until October 16 according to Marvel.  This hasn’t stopped Marvel from revealing the full compilation–and since all the songs are from the 70s it doesn’t make one bit of sense to delay the soundtrack but whatevs.

Asked for his opinion on the soundtrack, the brilliant James Gunn who gave us the first movie tweeted his disappointment.

Go Go Gadget Reboot

“This is the third time I’ve been wrapped up by my own arms in this episode alone!”

Inspector Gadget is go go going to Netflix in a brand new series!  That brings to two the total of beloved old cartoons coming back to TV today alone! The series already aired in Europe, who has a much more refined sense of humor for stumbling cyborg private detectives with super intelligent nieces and their dogs.  Netflix acquired the US rights and adds it to their already impressive (and highly distracting) body of work to occupy children’s attention for hours at a time.  Did I mention I love you, Netflix?  Except for Veggie Tales.  I prefer my talking vegetables to be less Jesusy.
