In a press release from Toyota, Back to the Future co-creator and producer Bob Gale offers some background on the manufacturer’s partnership with the franchise. “Toyota stands apart for their nod to the future and the past with the auto technology depicted in the movies. If you listened to our Back To The Future podcast, you’d know that each of us geeks proposed a new Back To The Future 4 movie. How well did we do? That’s entirely up to you, but we’re not the first to think through this – check out the awesome parody after the break created by VJ4rawr2.
Great Scott! Lyft teamed up with Verizon for #WhyNotWednesday to give free DeLorean rides around NYC via McFly Mode. Request a ride in McFly Mode for a chance to get picked up in a DeLorean and take a free ride for up to 15 minutes. Don’t worry — these DeLoreans aren’t equipped with Flux Capacitors, so where you’re going, we still need roads.

We’re getting closer and closer to the day of all days – Back to the future’s 2015 October 21st date.
