In celebration of Back To the Future’s 30th anniversary Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys are excited to present the Marty McFly sixth scale figure!

The movie-accurate collectible sixth scale figure is specially crafted based on the image of Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly in the movie, featuring a newly developed head sculpt, highly detailed costume and a number of accessories.

Students Build All-Electric DeLorean For Back To The Future Day

We’ve been having a great time celebrating Back to the Future Day with you, in a number of different ways, with a number of different posts. But nothing compares to Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) in Ireland, which had its own unique take on the day with a special hometown hero — the university is using today’s “holiday” to unveil an all-electric DeLorean.

In an instance of life imitating art, a Nike exec confirmed that the company is working on getting its Marty McFly “Back to the Future” shoe — with Power Laces — out to customers.  Nike’s innovation chief Tinker Hatfield said the shoe — known as Nike Air MAG — would hit in 2015, and not a moment too soon!

Lego “Brick To The Future” Parody

Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads. Check out this awesome new animated “Back to the Future” parody short from Lego filmmaker MonsieurCaron. Last year, he impressed us with his Lego “Ghostbusters” short. His “Brick to the Future” short is just as impressive, with several characters and popular items from several geeky film and TV franchises making appearances.
