You know what keeps looking better with every trailer if I am being brutally honest?  Suicide Squad.  Maybe it’s because of how blah Batsoup was, but the trailers at least have rocked.

The Aquaman Update That No One But Watson Wants

Look.  Just deal with the fact that every little sliver of Aquaman related cinema news will be paraded out on this site with the same level of excitement as Age of Ultron or Force Awakens.  That’s right.  Anything and everything Aquaman related?  Gonna be posted here for us to all bask in its salty goodness!  (That was a salt water/ocean reference, perv!)

Jenny has complained several times on the Gabbing Geek podcast about how Batman v Superman is turning into Batsoup with all the characters being cast.  Maybe X-Men:  Apocalypse is the next soup du jour, because after ALL the casting news of late on the next franchise installment featuring the mutie scum, we now have a new Nightcrawler.

With Superhero movies becoming more and more popular and prevalent these days, it’s time to discuss the gender balance (or lack there of) we tend to see in such movies. We are familiar with the popularity of Batman, Superman, Spider-man, Ironman, Aquaman(? – if only to Watson), etc. But where do the female superheros fit in this male dominated franchise? With kick-ass characters like Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Blackwidow, and more…how have we failed to properly tip the scales so that movie goers are seeing equal representation on screen?
