Basically, that means that anything can be a cinematic universe these days. While sitting around the Gabbing Geek Editorial Office, I came up with a few of my own. See them after the cut. Hollywood, feel free to use these for a small piece of the gross. Not the net. I won’t be screwed over that way.
In an era of over-hype, where there are teaser trailers for the release of teaser trailers, the Doctor Strange trailer kinda snuck up on us. After the break, get your first glimpse of Marvel’s next star in the making.
I’m totally off the grid these days, but Ryan’s predictions are so bad I had to come in and rip them to shreds and give you the REAL numbers. His bold predictions about how the 2015 domestic box office would turn out were pretty weak. He called his performance was mixed–but for him mixed was chocolate plus peanut butter. In reality, it is a mix of Ex-lax and motor oil. So I am going to go, one by one, through his 2016 picks and give the real number. We have a lunch bet on who has the lowest delta between the acutals and their predictions. NO PRICE IS RIGHT RULES IN EFFECT!
One year ago I made some bold predictions about how the 2015 domestic box office would turn out. My performance was mixed–got some, missed some others. But now it’s time to look ahead to 2016. Jump after the break to see what I predict will be the top ten grossing films of the year along with 33 other movies I’m making some bold predictions on!
You know something? I’ve been trying to bring back the daily cosplay feature, and I am just not good at this. I don’t know how Jenny does it. I know exactly how Watson does it, because he probably just types “stuff I would wear” into Google and the results just come up.
Well, this is the last time I am trying this. So, one last shot at a good cosplay…
2016. Did any of us think we’d live this long? Yeah, probably. We’re Geeks, not morbid.
So, what sort of Geek Entertainment has us here at Gabbing Geek at least a little curious? See behind the cut, with some items getting some expert Geek Commentary from the Geek Guru himself, Jimmy Impossible.
Just in time for Jenny’s birthday (well, not quite), Entertainment Weekly pulled out a couple photos of Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange.
Wanna see a good one? See it behind the cut.
We here at Gabbing Geek love Sherlock. If you’re reading a site called Gabbing Geek there is a good chance you do too. If you haven’t seen it, you’ve got some time coming up over the holiday season with all your other shows likely shut down until the new year, to catch up.
After the break, check out the third trailer for Sherlock: The Abominable Bride, what you’ll be striving to have the previous seasons of Sherlock completed in time to watch in January.

See the trailer after the cut for Zoolander 2. It looks ridiculous. But that’s what we would expect. Oh and Jenny, ↑ that picture speaks for itself…and what it’s saying isn’t great.
Sherlock Holmes, the character, has been around for over a century, and plenty of fans have an idea of what Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous creation should be like.
That’s what makes director Bill Condon’s take on the character so refreshing: Mr. Holmes actually treats the famous detective as a human being. SPOILER-FREE review after the cut.
