My wife, Sara, and I are huge theater nerds that frequently hit New York to see as many shows as we can. Here are the results of our latest theater run, for those interested.

Heroes Reborn – We Knew You Couldn’t Stay Dead For Long!

Unless you are Ryan Garcia who was out galavanting around watching Broadway shows of some sort while the Superbowl was on, then you probably saw the quick trailer for the new Heroes Reborn series coming to NBC.

First off – who watches Broadway instead of the Superbowl? HA – I’m kidding. Secondly – what? Heroes is back!? You can count me #1 Cheerleader!

What A Broadway Geek Does During The Super Bowl

Forgive me this brief bit of self-indulgence, but what else is a geek site for if not to document our geekiness?  In addition to my science fiction, movie, television, and comic book geekdom I am also a musical theater geek.  Two days ago my wife found out that Sutton Foster would be singing with the Houston symphony during three shows over the weekend.  Friday was too late, Saturday was too busy, but there was a Sunday matinee.  Sure, it meant we’d probably miss most of the Super Bowl during the ride back–BUT THAT IS WHAT BROADWAY GEEKS DO.

Wicked really has defied gravity with it’s ability to continually stun and awe audiences all over the world. And now there is a rumor that this brilliant Broadway show may be making it’s way to the big screen. If we click our heels three times, it’s sure to come true, right?
