We all loved Breaking Bad, right? Were you wondering what Bryan Cranston’s next TV project would be?
Um, its some claymation-looking thing that’ll be on the Crackle streaming service called SuperMansion about a bunch of crude, stupid superheroes. Not exactly breaking (bad) new ground. Maybe it’s better than its trailer. It might almost have to be. Seriously, one of the big jokes is a Batman-type sitting on his own balls. As opposed to sitting on someone else’s balls. I’d better stop here. See the trailer after the cut.

Talking animals in some sort of anthropomorphic version of China must make a mint. That’s the best explanation for why Dreamworks is coming out with Kung Fu Panda 3. This one has Jack Black’s Po apparently meeting his biological father (voiced by Bryan Cranston) and then has to train the lost pandas in the art of macrame. I meant kung fu. Time to double down on martial arts obese mammals.
Oscar winner J.K. Simmons is the bad guy.
I’ll admit to liking the first one, but never really sat through the second from start to finish. So, I have nothing more to add aside from a quick mention that there’s a trailer after the cut.
Sure, I don’t own any of the IP rights. Sure, it was bound to happen anyway. But, darnett they stole my idea! And they have a darn good director ready to helm it. Who should they cast? We at Gabbing Geek know!

Back in Episode 21 of Gabbing Geek, the Geeks played a game of “Sequel, Reboot, or LET IT DIE!” In that now legendary segment (my mom liked it), we offered our not so humble opinions on how to manage some prominent Geek film properties. A movie like Goonies, for instance, could be rebooted for a new generation, continued with the original kids now parents to a next generation of Goonies, or Let the franchise die (which is somewhat incompatible with their motto…) Some franchises were destined to be continued, yet along the way the wheels fell off the bus. Let’s make up for Hollywood’s sins and green light a few films in the PURE SEQUEL category.
