Gabbing Geek sources have just confirmed that Channing Tatum will be cast as young Han Solo in the upcoming standalone Star Wars film.
“Apparently that Jimmy Impossible isn’t the only hacker,” president of Disney’s Lucasfilms division Kathleen Kennedy announced in a press release. “Because now I’ve got some Jenny character controlling my password until I cast Channing. CAN I JUST GET BACK TO CANDY CRUSH?!?!”

Look, there’s nothing particularly Geeky about the Coen Brothers.

Some actors have great range. They disappear into their roles like chameleons with such success, you forget they are acting. Then there are the people who don’t know how to play anyone other than themselves. These folks can be charming, even occasionally win awards, but they eventually get called out in a Gabbing Geek filler article!
Oh…my…God! The Oscars are my Superbowl so the day the nominations are announced is like the Conference Championship Games. I also enjoy the Superbowl because, living in Texas, it is a state law that you must love football. It’s anyone’s year but more and more it is looking like the Patriots are going to…wait a minute. Ah. Now we get to the cream of the crop! The ten best films of 2014! Hope you enjoyed your year of films as much as I did mine. This was a strong year for movies; both blockbuster and arthouse. While there wasn’t an all-time Hall of Fame entry (like Dark Knight or Godfather), we did have many 5 star worthy films. Any of these ten films would have been a worthy choice for #1, in fact many of them even flirted with the top spot during the year, but when the dust settled here was the final list.

Fox has just announced that a Gambit movie will be released on October 7, 2016. Channing Tatum’s recent Tweet certainly gives us hope that this is solid!
Previous reports have indicated that Robocop screenwriter Josh Zetumer will be writing the script for Gambit. The script will reportedly have help from legendary X-Men comic book writer Chris Claremont, who created Gambit along with artist Jim Lee.
