Hold on to your butts, because our Friends over at 8 Bit Cinema have a new and fantastic Jurassic Park 8-bit video out! And it has everything you could ever want: Raptor hunting, 1993 Jeep Cherokees, blood thirsty T-Rex, super sexy Malcom, and our favorite, screaming children. Check it out for yourself after the break….ah, ah, aaaahhh, you didn’t say the magic word:
Say hello to Luke everyone! “Hi LUKE!” Luke loves dinosaurs – and recently was inspired by Jurassic World. So inspired in fact, that he deconstructed his LEGO Millennium Falcon to get enough grey pieces to build the new Indominus Rex from the movie! Now – though we all think the Millennium Falcon should never be deconstructed, because well – it’s the Millennium Falcon! We still have to give props to Luke for being super ingenious and hard core! Awesome replica of the Rex-Raptor hybrid Luke – this scores a win for creativity! Well done!
Our favorite Brotherhood Workshop is at it again. This time, they pull inspiration from the ever popular Jurassic World. Watch as the King of the Dinosaurs faces his greatest challenge yet: a game of catch. Video after the break:
Jurassic World takes over and becomes a jurassic city with these original art prints by Sky World Project. Want to see your own city taken over by these majestic but toothy, dangerous, hungry, and down-right-cray-cray beasts? Well then be sure to see the Dino take-down after the break – you won’t be disappointed! (And if Dinosaurs aren’t your cup of tea, be sure to check out SkyWorldProjects other prints for more geeky references like Batman, War Of The Worlds, Godzilla, and more!)
We couldn’t resist this Owen vs. Raptors cosplay. Though we have to admit that the “raptors” look a little tiny – what do you think? (via: 9Gag)
There is a lot of hype right now around the new Jurassic World movie, but what I love most about this, is all the crazy artists out there that get right to making parody clothing for all of us to enjoy. Here are some of our favorite shirts that are mostly ridiculous, but some are very clever. Enjoy!
Adorable, lovable, and apparently scareable Chris Pratt is caught off guard with this Jurassic sized prank. Remember the man behind this awesome spider-dog prank well, he’s at it again, but this time with massive human dino puppets. You have to see how they pulled this off (after the break), and then how Pratt reacted after the fact. I’m pretty sure I would have soiled myself while screaming and judo chopping the hell out of everything around me. Fight or flight people, fight or flight.
2014 is behind us, so enough jabber about last year’s movies. 2015 is here. What are the 10 tentpoles movies that pique my curiosity in the New? Let’s take a look.
Nothing says inherent true geek like a dog cosplaying as a dinosaur. Must have been “ruff” trying to get into such a dog-gone adorable costume. Hey, let’s throw him a bone here, it’s not like dinos are easy to pull off. Three cheers for the dog’s choice in “Rex” as his preferred dino, because it would have been awkward if he tried to pull of “Terry-Dactal.” (We all know that’s a lab under there and not a terrier).
ACK! Like we needed one more reason to be scared of sharks. It’s not like anyone says, “Hey shark, how ya’ doing? Say hello to ya’ motha’ for me.” NO! No one talks to sharks. You know why? Because sharks are scary, and they have razor sharp teeth to chew through soft tiny limbs, and oh god…. just look at that photo! We’re not talking your standard shark teeth, now we’re talking millions of layered razor sharp needle teeth just waiting to rip through you. Make it stop! The horror!
