Welcome to the Friday before Halloween everyone, or what YouTuber Jordan Hanz likes to call HANZOWEEN! The Lich King (featured above), aka Arthas is one bad ass looking dude, so she wanted to do a skull inspired Lich “Queen” Halloween Makeup Tutorial to satiate her deadly desires. What’s super cool about Jordan, is that she has been doing this all month, so she has 30+ video tutorials on her YouTube channel. Check out some of our spooktacular favorites like Harley Quinn, Joker, and of course The Lich King after the break:
If you’re the type of person who likes to wait for the last minute to get a Halloween costume–congratulations!! It’s officially the last minute. Which means Amazon can’t deliver a decent costume in time (no, there isn’t a decent one on Prime Now even if you’re in an area they cover) and all your stores are sold out of the good costumes. You’re going to have to do this yourself. Lucky for you, Gabbing Geek is here with some easy to pull off and still geek-cred worthy costumes. Jump after the break to see all the awesome ideas.
Movie posters are iconic pieces of art but it is amazing how much the titles and font are part of the visual appeal. We check out what the posters look like with the text stripped away and only the visual to sell the story.
Did you grow up with Goosebumps, either on the page or the TV? I didn’t. I was a bit too old when they came out. Yeah, yeah, poor me.
Well, the never-ending fountain of hopeful nostalgia profit that is Hollywood has a Goosebumps movie coming out around Halloween with Jack Black playing R.L. Stine. Interested at all? See the trailer after the cut.
Full disclosure, I’ve seen all the Halloween movies. Even the dreadful Season of the Witch. (That’s Halloween III Watson, not II.) I am a big fan of some of them, though a lot are just standard slasher films. I really liked the Rob Zombie reboot as well…but the sequel was, fittingly, pure torture.
