The Rotten Tomatoes numbers above are really not all that bad. They are not stellar like the first Avenger’s movie’s 92% Fresh, but they are acceptable. I’m curious how I will feel about the film after a rewatch? I’m sure I am like most that was incredibly let down by it, but expectations were sky high.
In the meantime, I will just have to be content with watching the Honest Trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron after the cut.
Well Mr. Pratt, it’s new to me and hasn’t been posted on Gabbing Geek and I like to promote Honest Trailers at every opportunity for no reason other than I find them hilarious.
Relive last summers surprise Pratt blockbuster that only made 300 million. That’s ok I guess, but it is no Jurassic World that has made 650 million. That’s over twice as much money…does that mean it is over twice as good? Ryan?
Ryan and I are big fans of the Fast and the Furious franchise. Well, except for the putrid Tokyo Drift excursion. And part two was a bit of a stinker as well. But parts 1 and 4 through 7 really hit it out of the ballpark!
But we can still have a sense of humor and laugh at even the things we love. And nobody does a better job of pointing out the obvious issues in things we enjoy than Honest Trailers. After the cut, see their take on Furious 7. (Note: Contains massive spoilers for Furious 7. But you’ve probably seen it since it’s made a bajillion dollars.)
It gets teased a lot for the crying, and the horrible Aerosmith song, and the Michael Bay, and the plot and a lot of other things…but I liked Armageddon. But my taste involving movies where things blow up is well known.
After the cut Honest Trailers asks the question that’s been asked since 1998…wouldn’t it have been easier to train astronauts to drill?
We are all big fans of Kingsman here at Gabbing Geek. (And of the source material Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. A recommended read.) But that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy Honest Trailers poking some fun at the film. Watch their take after the break.
I have no idea, I just needed an angle to post this Honest Trailer that looks back at the first four films of the Cruise franchise. Check it out after the break.
On the serious side, I don’t see MI5 holding on with Straight Outta Compton and possibly Man From U.N.C.L.E. having big money potential. The most interesting thing to watch this weekend will be how far Fantastic Four drops from week to week. 70%?
