A standard Marge storyline deals with the idea that she is indefensible to the Simpson household, and the lose of her can cause untold havoc with Homer forced to take charge.
Sometimes the whole town of Springfield has to learn that lesson.

And we’re back with more cartoon superhero talk with Tom and Jimmy.
This week, we’re covering “Zatanna,” “The Mechanic,” and “Harley and Ivy”.
Yet again, Tom and Jimmy are back to work their way through the DCAU.
This week, we’re covering the Batman the Animated Series episodes “Tyger, Tyger,” “Moon of the Wolf,” and “Day of the Samurai”.
After a long, unnecessary delay called “Tom’s vacation,” Tom and Jimmy are back with more DCAU chat.
This week, we cover Batman meeting an evil ninja, an evil guy giving diseases to stray dogs and cats, and an evil psychiatrist.
I’m generally not one for horror. I was a jumpy kid, and horror movies–even dumb ones–were often too much for me. I’ve gotten a bit better since then, but as much as I don’t care much for horror movies, I do greatly enjoy horror novels. Why that is I cannot say, but it may be that there is something comforting about the page that isn’t as visually worrisome as the motion picture.
I recently read author Rin Chupeco’s debut novel The Girl from the Well. Review and potential SPOILERS behind the cut.
Gabbing Geek is a global media empire. A fan (and friend) from Japan, Naoko, sent the following message about a hot new act on the other side of the Pacific.

Personally, I am neither young nor speak Japanese, so I watched much of the video with what can only be described as beeildered amusement. At about the 2 minute mark, though, I officially lost my shit! Stick with it. It…is… awesome!
Check out the video after the break.

But you’ll be interested to find out that despite the fact that we HATED the film, there are those out there that loved it. And it’s because of that said love that director Jaume Collet-Serra started talks of a reboot. Nooooooooooooooooooo!
