New Trailer Reminds Me How Much I’ve Missed Jason Bourne

I’ve been a big fan of Jason Bourne in book and movie form for a long time.  So it was disappointing that Matt Damon appeared to hang up his spy suit and move on to other things like being left alone on Mars.

Universal tried to keep the franchise alive with The Bourne Legacy, but I’m sorry Jeremy Renner, Jason Bourne, you are not.

But somebody in Hollywood said the right things or opened up the right briefcase full of money because a new Jason Bourne film is just around the corner featuring the return of Matt Damon as the lead character.  Watch the trailer after the break and head to the theatres to see Jason Bourne on July 29.

What Movies Could Sneak Into 2015’s Top Ten Grossing Films? (or “How Bad is Ryan’s B.O.?”)

In a January article by Gabbing Geek’s own Ryan Garcia, he predicted the 2015 Top Ten Grossing films (domestic).  Rule of thumb says that to crack the top ten,  a film will need to surpass $200M+. Some of Ryan’s picks were right.  Some were wrong.    Where will we wind up and what could spoil Ryan’s top ten list?

Tom Cruise Runs From the Jedi

I guess Ryan was wrong that Mission Impossible 5 would be a top ten movie of 2015. Maybe it will make his 2016 list.

Fearing the return of the Jedi, MI5 has moved back to July 2016 to avoid a collision with Star Wars Episode 7.

Smart move! 2015 is looking crowded; better to wait for 2016.

Captain America: Civil War Production Details

Excited about Ant-Man?  Lot of news about that lately.  Avengers 2 coming out.  We should discuss the relationship between Vision and Jarvis.  Yeah, screw that, let’s talk about Civil War!  Anthony Mackie (aka the Falcon) teased some filming locations of the much anticipated Iron Man 4 err….we mean Captain America 3. (RDJ is a supporting actor).

Size Matters When it Comes to Avengers!

We at Gabbing Geek LOVE stupid viral internet charts comparing the size of geek things.  Avenger height is about as good as it gets!

Not sure how the Iron Man armor is 6’5″ when Robert Downey Jr is 5’9″.  His feet are at the bottom.  His head is at the top.  Not like you can make that taller…
