Yes, we’re already three weeks into 2016 but I finally managed to put together my movie rankings for 2015.  Because life.  I only managed to see 51 films this year, a paltry sum compared to Watson when he isn’t even trying. And eight of those were on a plane to or from China, making the theater total even lower.  Definitely a busy year, but overall a great one for movies.  Head after the jump to see how I ranked all 51!

Studio Announces Fate of Kingsman Sequel…

For some films we know opening weekend that they are destined for sequels.  Some have to wait to see how the final numbers look.  $400M globally is usually the number that spurs the discussion of go-or-no-go for a sequel to an action franchise.  Kingsman is currently sitting at $401M.  Well the conversation has occurred and we now know whether the Kingsman is a one shot flick or a franchise.

It would have been a bad movie, but Cage would have been amazing!

Today we celebrate the roses that grew out of a steaming pile of horse manure. It’s easy to bask in the accolades of a strong performance in an epic superhero flick. Chris Reeve got us all started with his turn in Superman. Ledger was all-time in the brilliant Dark Knight. RDJ was amazing in the transformative Iron Man. But what about the people who rise to the occasion in a real stinker? Let’s give them their moment in the sun!
