Let The Ghostbusters Hype Machine Begin!

I’m not sure what to think about this all-female Ghostbusters reboot.  Not because I’m anti-feminist or anything, I just wonder do we need a Ghostbusters reboot at all?  And while Kristen Wiig is ok, Melissa McCarthy does nothing for me.  (I get the feeling I’m in the minority there.)  And the other two women I’ve never heard of.  But I’ll give it a fair shot.  The true test will be whenever we get a trailer.

In the meantime, after the cut check out new posters for each of the individual Ghostbusters.  I will admit, they are pretty bad ass.

We love Paul Fieg – and Paul Fieg loves Twitter. Yesterday morning he tweeted the costumes you see above with the hashtag #whatyougonnawear. Additionally he tweeted out the photon packs again with the hashtag #whatyougonnashoot. Next we’re hoping for a leaked picture of any ghost so we can totally use #WhoYouGonnaCall. Trailer Time: A Deadly Adoption

We here at Gabbing Geek wouldn’t normally go anywhere near a Lifetime TV movie with a metaphorical ten foot pole.  And we still won’t even with A Deadly Adoption, which stars Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig as a successful couple looking to adopt a newborn from what looks like a seriously crazy birthmother.  I mean, it’s probably a comedy, but it sure looks like the real thing.

The Martian – Official Trailer

The first full-length trailer has arrived for “The Martian,” the sci-fi drama directed by Ridley Scott, which opens November 25th and stars Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Donald Glover.

Based on the 2011 novel by Andy Weir, astronaut Mark Watney (Damon), who during a manned mission to Mars is presumed dead and left behind by his crew. Struggling to survive with only meager supplies, Watney manages to get a signal to Earth, leading NASA to search for a way to bring “the Martian” home, even as his own crew hatches a daring — and seemingly impossible — rescue plan.
