Let The Ghostbusters Hype Machine Begin!

I’m not sure what to think about this all-female Ghostbusters reboot.  Not because I’m anti-feminist or anything, I just wonder do we need a Ghostbusters reboot at all?  And while Kristen Wiig is ok, Melissa McCarthy does nothing for me.  (I get the feeling I’m in the minority there.)  And the other two women I’ve never heard of.  But I’ll give it a fair shot.  The true test will be whenever we get a trailer.

In the meantime, after the cut check out new posters for each of the individual Ghostbusters.  I will admit, they are pretty bad ass.

Don’t know who he is?  He was actually one of the original Not Ready For Prime Time Players.

We love Paul Fieg – and Paul Fieg loves Twitter. Yesterday morning he tweeted the costumes you see above with the hashtag #whatyougonnawear. Additionally he tweeted out the photon packs again with the hashtag #whatyougonnashoot. Next we’re hoping for a leaked picture of any ghost so we can totally use #WhoYouGonnaCall. Breaking News! Ghostbusters Movie Signs Melissa McCarthy!

Who you gonna call? Well it better be the rest of the cast if we’re going to have a full ensemble!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, here’s what we know: Melissa McCarthy has officially signed on to the Paul Feig film, surprising no one. And Kristin Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones are still in negotiations.
