Watson’s #11-20 Best Movies of 2014…Silver Medalists, All!

This was a great year for movies, so I didn’t want to just discuss my top ten.  There were so many movies that were worthy of consideration. I’ll post the full list Thursday, but first here are the films that, while not worthy of top ten rankings, are surely praiseworthy.  With so many great films released, there is no shame in silver!

Gambit Announced for Oct. 7th, 2016!

Breaking news!

Fox has just announced that a Gambit movie will be released on October 7, 2016. Channing Tatum’s recent Tweet certainly gives us hope that this is solid!

Previous reports have indicated that Robocop screenwriter Josh Zetumer will be writing the script for Gambit. The script will reportedly have help from legendary X-Men comic book writer Chris Claremont, who created Gambit along with artist Jim Lee.

scarjoThis is Scarlett Johansson.  She stars in movies.  She’s gorgeous.  Critics love her.  Her last ten films have averaged 82% on Rotten Tomatoes.  She’s about to play Black Widow for the fourth time.  She even managed to pull in decent money with a horribly scripted action film, Lucy.  And yet Marvel still won’t give her a Black Widow solo film.  Because, really, who wants to look at this ugly mug for two hours?
