2016. Did any of us think we’d live this long? Yeah, probably. We’re Geeks, not morbid.
So, what sort of Geek Entertainment has us here at Gabbing Geek at least a little curious? See behind the cut, with some items getting some expert Geek Commentary from the Geek Guru himself, Jimmy Impossible.
I’m not sure what to think about this all-female Ghostbusters reboot. Not because I’m anti-feminist or anything, I just wonder do we need a Ghostbusters reboot at all? And while Kristen Wiig is ok, Melissa McCarthy does nothing for me. (I get the feeling I’m in the minority there.) And the other two women I’ve never heard of. But I’ll give it a fair shot. The easy answer is, when I’m in line at the movie rental store, I’m much more likely to pick up something geeky or a stupid comedy than some heart wrenching drama. One of those three usually gets accolades. The other 4/5ths (#jennymath) usually do not. And to celebrate the worst of movies that Jimmy likely saw, they invented the Razzies. Given out 24 hours before Neil Patrick Harris shocked the world and brought Gabbing Geek to its knees by mentioning Clue in the opening musical number, here are your 2015 Razzie winners…
