Another Podcast Reaction: Secret Wars Edition

This week on the podcast, the Gabbingest of Geeks stopped to discuss the fact that they took the podcast’s birthday off.

Lazy goofs.

They also discussed time travel.  But I covered my time travel thoughts a long time ago, so I am not doing that again any time soon.  Besides, it looks like Jimmy is covering the time travel stuff just judging from his title, so I’ll leave it be.

Instead, let me say a few things about the current Secret Wars.

Podcast Reaction: No Terminator?!? WTF?!? Edition

On this weeks podcast the Geeks unveiled a List Of Truth™ about time travel movies.  Ranking “some of the better” time travel movies.  Who defined what were “some of the better”?  I’ll agree that most of the list contains good to great movies (I would not include Men In Black III in those categories, and I haven’t seen Looper, I know, I know…), but it seems to contain some glaring omissions to me.  Find them after the cut.

This week on the podcast, there wasn’t one to celebrate the one year anniversary of Gabbing Geek.  See, the podcasters like to celebrate doing a lot of fun work by not doing any.  Got a problem with that?

So, why am I reacting?  Well, mostly because there was an open timeslot.

Reminder: Geek Book Club For Childhood’s End In One Week

Hey everyone who reads the credit boxes for articles.  I’m back from my vacation.  My wife and I spent a lovely ten days in Nova Scotia, and there wasn’t much of a Geek nature going on there because my wife is not a Geek.  I didn’t even get much of the reading I thought I would get done finished because we were doing stuff.

Podcast Reaction: The No Watson’s Club Edition

On this week’s podcast we were without the melodic tones of one William DB Watson as he served his one podcast suspension for last weeks tirade that will be henceforth known as “The Incident”.  However, the remaining geeks fell into the age old trap of talking about Watson continuously throughout.
