Wait a minute–we have a podcast?!? It’s been a while since the Geeks were able to record but there was no stopping us talking about a certain new movie that came out last week. So join the entire gang (and we mean entire gang) for a bonus-sized conversation about everything The Force Awakens! Give us a listen right now or jump after the break to read more!
In case you were indisposed last night, or live under a rock, or just flat out have no good excuse for missing the most awesome trailer in the history of trailers – then today is your lucky day, because we’re posting it first thing this morning. You know – start your day off right with this GEM of a Star Wars: Force Awakens trailer. You’re welcome.
Star Wars fans have reveled in some of the mistakes in the original movie. You can see Kenny Baker’s (the actor who played R2D2) legs behind the droid in some scenes. The stormtrooper who hits his head on a door in the Death Star (hmmm…weren’t they all supposed to be the same height?). Heck, here’s a nearly twelve minute video of all the mistakes you can find in Episode IV. But the biggest mistake of them all, Luke calling out “Carrie!” after destroying the Death Star instead of “Leia!,” has just been refuted by an extremely credible source. Find out the details after the break.
IT’S SO SQUISHY!!!!! Artist and seamstress Telahmarie on Etsy has the market cornered on adorably cute throw pillows. If you’re a geek – or into Fandom, then this shop is for you. Not only does she have a wide variety of awesome Star Wars character pillows, but she also has everything from Harry Potter, to Doctor Who. You can even find Joan Jett and Jareth from Labyrinth. You have to see it for yourself! I can hardly contain my squeals, because these pillows are so damn cute. Check out some of our favorite Star Wars versions after the break – and see Telehmarie’s shop “Heart Felt Designs” for more pillow fandom.

I was tumbling along on (you guessed it) Tumblr when…. OOOOOOOO… OOOOOOO…. Luke! My draw dropped. How was this not published with the recent release of the new Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens from EW. If you haven’t seen them, that’s okay, we posted them after the break. But LUKE! That’s the real find. Who else is as excited about his new look? It’s very Obi-wan, right?
First – please start singing the Imperial March in your head. Got it? Great. Now you can look at this awesome Darth Vader 4-wheel luggage. Better, right?
