Last night, we learned that Fozzie Bear is a nicer person than Kermit the Frog.  Fozzie has a hit stand-up routine about his human girlfriend Becky’s sweatiness.  When he learns how hurt she was (after she gets revenge on him), he removes it from his act.  Would Kermit have done the same thing?  Not this incarnation of Kermit.  Kermit just wants to put on a good show, and if he has to manipulate Piggy and the crew, then by Henson, he will.

But this week, Reese Witherspoon was the celebrity guest, and I want to address that a bit behind the cut.

Jenny’s Inherent Vice Mini Review (Spoiler Free)

Inherent Vice, based on the 2009 novel by Thomas Pynchon, and screenplay written/directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, is a wild ride from start to finish. How would I sum up this move? Think,  The Big Lebowski + Scooby-Doo + Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas. Yeah. Wild. And to make it even more fun – my local theater The Alamo Draft House, had a huge part in making the first viewing extra special.

Watson’s #11-20 Best Movies of 2014…Silver Medalists, All!

This was a great year for movies, so I didn’t want to just discuss my top ten.  There were so many movies that were worthy of consideration. I’ll post the full list Thursday, but first here are the films that, while not worthy of top ten rankings, are surely praiseworthy.  With so many great films released, there is no shame in silver!
