Basically, that means that anything can be a cinematic universe these days. While sitting around the Gabbing Geek Editorial Office, I came up with a few of my own. See them after the cut. Hollywood, feel free to use these for a small piece of the gross. Not the net. I won’t be screwed over that way.
Entertainment Weekly reports that DC is re-launching and modernizing a number of Hanna Barbera titles starting this May. While the article includes pictures of rebooted Johnny Quest, Space Ghost, Flintstones (how do you modernize the Flintstones, by the way?), and Wacky Race Land, all of our energy should be focused on that picture above. That’s Jim Lee taking on the Scooby Gang in the most awesome thing you’ve seen today. May can’t come soon enough!

The Venture Brothers is often hilarious, and much of it comes across as a distorted Geek pop culture argument on acid.
After a long, unnecessary delay called “Tom’s vacation,” Tom and Jimmy are back with more DCAU chat.
This week, we cover Batman meeting an evil ninja, an evil guy giving diseases to stray dogs and cats, and an evil psychiatrist.
For some Friday free time – here is a video created by the Brotherhood Workshop as a way for The LEGO Group to advertise their “Escape from the Haunted Isle” online game.
Have you ever wondered what the A-Team van would look like as a Transformer? Well, now you know. Artist Darren Rawlings re-imagines quite a few famous vehicles such as the Batmobile and the Back to the Future Delorean in a current series on Deviant Art. Check more of them out after the break.

We here at Gabbing Geek have debated the best cartoon theme songs on our Podcast Ep. 14. What we failed to imagine is if someone took similar lovable theme songs and transformed them into super hard-core METAL versions. Feast your eyes and ears on these twisted musical mashups….I lost my mind when he started singing the Batman theme song.

He was…the Unknown Soldier!
