Nothing says Star Wars fan like having a hand sewn pillow on your couch or bed. You know – it’s the little things that claim you as classy, yet practical. Etsy shop owner AlienCoutureUK (AC) searched everywhere for anyone who made interesting cushions for the Geek home, but could not find a good selection anywhere. So to remedy that, the shop started making their own. Eventually all their friends started asking AC to make them some, and so Alien Couture was born. Check out more of their styles after the break:
Beery Method is a graphic, branding and marketing company based in Seattle. And I’m not gonna lie, some of their alternative images for our beloved Star Wars characters are a little creeptastic. But that’s what’s fun about it – check out the following pictures that are both crazy-wakadoo Star Wars as well as zombirific – also named “the Deathside collection” after the break:
You knew we were going to find some original art for you to enjoy on this momentous Star Wars day! And Etsy shop owner GoGoBookArt does not disappoint! Check out these lovely art printed on old antique dictionary paper. Frame it up, and call it day while R2D2 looks on lovingly while snaking on popcorn. I’m most in love with the Yoda version, which you can see after the break!
Looking to build your own Millennium Falcon or X-Wing Starfighter? Look no further than these original blue print art pieces by Atomic Inspired Art. There are four different versions available to
build in your back yard place on your wall for decoration. Our only disappointment is that we didn’t see a Deathstar? I guess there would be major issues and legal repercussions if we got our hands on those blue prints, probably better to keep those under wraps. But for all the others, check them out after the break:
In this weeks edition of “Original Geek Art” we’d like to bring your attention to these beautiful Star Wars hand drawn and colored posters. All credit goes to Ben over at Bensmind. Ben states that when he was younger he used to make books about going out and about in the world where he’d write and draw about his experience. Now, all grown up, Ben is a graphic designer. The Star Wars prints came about because he proclaims himself as a massive sci-fi geek. His ETSY shop proves his passion. You can see anything from what we are featuring, to Star Trek, Game of Thrones, Dark Tower, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, Breaking Bad and so much more! See more of Ben’s amazing work after the break…
