Star Wars fans have reveled in some of the mistakes in the original movie. You can see Kenny Baker’s (the actor who played R2D2) legs behind the droid in some scenes. The stormtrooper who hits his head on a door in the Death Star (hmmm…weren’t they all supposed to be the same height?). Heck, here’s a nearly twelve minute video of all the mistakes you can find in Episode IV. But the biggest mistake of them all, Luke calling out “Carrie!” after destroying the Death Star instead of “Leia!,” has just been refuted by an extremely credible source. Find out the details after the break.

After experimenting with Meerkat last week, the Gabbing Geek podcasting crew decided to throw in with this bold new tech and we’re Meerkatting our podcast this week. Find out how you can watch or what it all means after the break.
Last week we reminded you of the Star-Lord vs. Captain America bet for the Superbowl. And to add to the spectacle, super fan Will Morgan, owner of WM Armory made this Star Lord Seahawks Helmet and shared it with Pratt on Twitter.
We love love love this letter from Rowan that was Tweeted out the other day – check it out – because yes, Rowan, girls read comics too!
Apparently I wasn’t the only one who giggled when best cinematographer nominee Dick Pope was accidentally called Dick POOP by Oscar President Cheryl Boone Isaacs (or Cheryl Boof Isaacs as she was later called). No. I was NOT alone in my sophomoric endeavors. Ney. All of Twitter joined me!
