Fantastic Four Might Be Rejoining The Marvel Cinematic Universe

According to Den of Geek, a deal may have been struck to bring the Fantastic Four back into the fold of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  While news broke earlier that Fox was ordering two X-Men based TV shows, Hellfire and Legion, it seems that Fox may have received the new TV rights in exchange for bringing the FF back into the main MCU.

This Fantastic Four deal could help explain why Fox suddenly received some broad, new rights for content in a world when Marvel is succeeding on every medium, but it also may help explain why three MCU films are scheduled to be released in 6 months of 2020.  Official details haven’t been released yet so stay tuned for more on this intriguing development.

  1. Hopefully this will give someone a chance to get this popular story right. I’ll do some shameless name-dropping by saying that my brother, Doug Jones, played the Silver Surfer. The point is that I tried to like that second movie but couldn’t despite the fact that I was impressed with my brother’s performance. The studio execs were evidently difficult to deal with, and I have since heard more of the same concerning Fox. Thanks for the post. This could be good news because nobody does Marvel like Marvel.

      1. Yes. I am the oldest of four boys. Doug is the youngest. You could say I grew up watching him develop his routine. I liked your post about him. By the way, Doug met Andy Serkis at a comicon, and they hit it off famously. It was evidently quite a moment for those in attendance.Take care, and it it nice to meet you.
